An unexpected connection

After non-stop mobile calls for the first few days, my wife put her foot down. The phone was confiscated. No more Connect09 until further notice! Which makes what happened next all the more extraordinary.

Taking the temperature of Connect09

I’m fairly new to Synod. I’ve been along to hear the Archbishop’s presidential address a few times. And last year I was in the public gallery listening to questions about some new venture he called “Connect09”. Unbeknown to me I’d soon be immersed in the campaign. Funny how things turn out!

My Christmas Day epiphany

I had an epiphany during church on Christmas Day - a glimpse of church through the eyes of two 20-somethings sitting outside in a car.

The mountain only God can climb

Two weeks into my new role of coordinating a gospel opportunity of extraordinary magnitude in 2009, I'm beginning to realise that prayer is the only path to the top.
